Today Portland renamed a street for Cesar Chavez. Great thing I suppose... Although probably the wrong time to do this! The economy in the tank and all..... I feel bad for all the businesses and homes that have to go through the name changes.... We have friends who were planning on selling their home on this street and may have some negative effects because of this.
I should state in my blog this is basically my thoughts and not really my families feelings on issues. As I get older I Have become more opionated and soon will be going back to school to get my MPA(masters in Public Affairs) I feel I should get my opinions out earlier rather than keeping them to myself as I always have. I have always felt that people were entitled to their own opinions even if I felt they were utterly wrong! :)
Unfortunately this city feels they should spend more money on silly issues. I am glad I moved across the bridge to saner grounds. Too bad I can't vote these silly people out of office.

So I guess I started a blog today. This is the first of them. I hope you enjoy... I will have to add more stuff here in the future as this was a beginning effort that happened kind of unexpectedly.....
